FIRE crews were called to free a man from a vehicle after a collision in Winkleigh on Friday.

Two crews from Chulmleigh and Hatherleigh attended the incident at the junction of Barnstaple Street and Torrington Road at 10.24am. On arrival crews released the man from a private van, using small tools and an ambulance long board.
