A MEETING is to be held in Gunnislake Public Hall on Wednesday, October 20 at 7.30pm to try to establish a community group.

At a recent meeting in the hall, when Tim Selman talked about the Tamar Valley Mining Area bid for World Heritage status.

Caradon and Cornwall councillor Godfrey Smale said he was keen to see the renewal of a community-based body to follow on from the good work done by the Gunnislake Forum.

A working group met to plan the new meeting, which all interested citizens of Gunnislake are urged to attend.
