THE entire complement of children at Princetown School enjoyed a trip to the seaside this week, when they enjoyed the opportunity to see marine life at a noted conservation area.
The children, plus staff and volunteer fathers, explored the beach at Wembury, discovering crabs, starfish, prawns, winkles and anemones in the rockpools, rounding the day off with some well-earned ice-creams.
And even the school mascot, Aruro the bear, wasn't left behind. The teddy goes with children on their holidays if they are taken during term time, and the children compile a vacation diary on his behalf, to make sure they are keeping up with their learning.
