THE Rotary Club of Okehampton and Okehampton Men in Sheds have teamed up to plant new hedgerows.
Rotarians Nils Westman, Maddy Carragher, Rob Flexman and Barry Thompson helped ‘Man in Shed’ Cliff Pantrey at the Community Garden Site, Fatherford Lane, Okehampton.
The hedgerow trees have been kindly donated under a national campaign by the Woodland Trust and the Conservation Volunteers organisations, with Rotary’s own national campaign to plant as many trees as feasible before the end of the current planting season.
The club have at least 50 trees left to plant in community areas, or on school/sports premises, or for community organisations.
