ROTARY club members from Okehampton helped the town’s RAF air cadets to plant 50 trees in the grounds of the 2443 squadron’s HQ in the town recently.
The trees, planted as part of commemorations of the RAF’s centenary, have been donated by the Woodland Trust and other conservation organisations. They are also part of Rotary’s own efforts to plant as many trees as possible in community settings in the town during the current growing season.
