GENEROUS shoppers have provided a boost for Gulworthy Primary School.
The school received 4,531 Tesco Schools vouchers handed in at the Tesco store in Callington.
The vouchers were presented by Tesco produce manager Mike McAree and community champion Alan Woollcombe.
Mr Woollcombe, a Gulworthy old boy, said: 'I am particularly pleased that Gulworthy School can benefit through the Tesco voucher scheme, as I have many happy memories of my time here.
'I am delighted that so many of our customers want to support this lovely rural school and generously donated so many vouchers. it is great to see it doing so well.'
The Tesco store has also collected 8,102 vouchers for Callington Community College and 4,868 vouchers for Coombe Valley Nursery.
