TAVISTOCK Rotary Club is hoping the advent of spring will encourage plenty of entries in this weekend?s charity fun run, which starts from the borough council offices at Kilworthy Park on Sunday at 10am.

There are two races ? a beginners? course of one-and-a-half miles and a seven mile route for fitter runners.

The event is being organised with Tavistock Athletics Club and will raise money for Youthwize.

Club chairman Dan Bates said: ?Last year?s event was a success and enjoyed by all who entered. I look forward to seeing more runners than last year and raising money for Youthwize in the process.?

Entry forms are available from Lakes Pharmacy, Abbey Surgery, the Cornish Arms and West Devon Borough Council offices.
