IT?S time to dust off the trainers, put a spring in your step and start limbering up for a charity run being held in Tavistock next month.
The Tavistock Fun run is being staged by the town?s Rotary Club and takes place on Sunday April 4.
There are two courses ? a beginners race of around one-and-a-half miles and a seven mile route for fitter competitors.
Both runs begin and end at West Devon Borough Council?s offices in Kilworthy Park and make use of the cycle route along the old railway track.
Organised in conjunction with Tavistock Athletic Club, proceeds of the fun run will go to the Rotary Club?s charity for 2004, Youthwize.
Entry to the race is £4 for seniors and £1 for under-18s. Everyone who completes the course will receive a certificate.
Entry forms are available from Lakes Pharmacy, Abbey Surgery, the Cornish Arms and the borough council offices in Tavistock.
