FORCE Cancer Charity is planning a one stop drop in Okehampton for donations to its shop.

A van will be parked outside Waitrose on Wednesday June 20 from 11am to 1pm to collect items including:

• Clean, undamaged clothing and fabrics

• Accessories

• Books

• Toys

FORCE offers face-to-face support for anyone affected by cancer at Castle Ham Lodge every Wednesday when it also funds the delivery of chemotherapy to patients from the town and surrounding area at Okehampton Hospital.

Its charity shop in Exeter plays a vital part in raising the £1.7-million FORCE needs to raise each year to maintain all the free services it provides.

FORCE will also be holding a coffee morning at the Charter Hall in Market Street from 10am until noon on Saturday June 30.

Representatives from the charity will be on hand to chat about the services available in Okehampton to anyone affected by cancer and the opportunities for volunteering and fundraising.
