TEN gardens in and around Hatherleigh will be open on Saturday, July 12 to raise funds for St John the Baptist Church. From wilder country gardens with fabulous views to small town gardens to raised beds and vegetables in tunnels, there will be something for everyone. The gardens are open between 10.30am and 5.30pm, with coffees at Old Schools from 10am to noon, light lunches at Made-Well, West Fishleigh, cream teas at Pangkor, and finishing with music in the garden with the Hatherleigh Silver Band at Hatherleigh Place.
