Thirteen girls from Tavy Rangers and one Explorer Scout spent part of the jubilee weekend on their silver Duke of Edinburgh Award practice expedition.  

The two groups set out from the south side of Dartmoor near South Brent and walked the eastern edge of the moor over the two-night expedition. 

Conditions were wet for most of the weekend but the two groups managed to start and finish in dry weather.
