IN the men's monthly medal at Tavistock Golf Club scoring was close but topping division one was Peter Leverton with a nett 69; second Kenny MacKenzie nett 72 and in third place was Glynn Cunnick with a nett 73 on countback from Richard Smith and Nigel Doidge. 

In division two Geoff Shepherd had a nett 66, second Brian Williams with nett 72, third with nett 73 Dave Symons on countback from Paul Congo and Will Notley.  

Jo Fitzgerald, in division three, had nett 71 on countback fron Ron Jago, third was Barry Shipton with a nett 74.  

In the ladies monthly Stableford scoring was not high and resulted in reductions only.  However, Jayne Wright in division one had a superb 38 points, second with 32pts was Maggie Hillman, third Sally Hills with 31pts. 

In division two first was Jane Hosking 32pts, second Ginny Samborne 31 and third was Lyn Swift with 30.  Peggy Burge had a good score of 36pts in division three, second was Sam Avens 34 with Sue Pratley in third place with 31.
