A FEW places are left for two free dry stone walling courses in September on Dartmoor.

The courses, being run by Dartmoor National Park Authority and Devon Rural Skills Trust, run from September 3-5 and 10-12 (course one), and from September 17-19 and 24-26 (course two) and are being held at Beckhams, Manaton.

The annual courses each have 12 places and teach the basic skills of dry stone walling and stone facing, with lifting and handling technique instruction.
