NIKE Westman, chair of Okehampton Twinning Association, is pictured presenting a plaque to the town’s mayor Jan Goffey at the town council meeting on Monday last week.

The plaque marks the 40th anniversary of Okehampton’s twinning alliance with the town of Craon in the Mayenne region in France. The plaque is a replica of the one which was unveiled in the town square in Craon during Okehampton’s twinning visit over the August Bank Holiday weekend last year.
