FOUR pupils from Mount House School in Tavistock delivered a consignment of Christmas parcels to the Salvation Army in Devonport recently, to help bring Christmas cheer to families in need in the Plymouth area.

When Pre-prep teacher Andra MacDougall attended a charity function in Devonport, and heard that the Salvation Army would be collecting presents for local families at Christmas again this year, the Mount House children were delighted to accept her suggestion to support this effort.

They started collecting in early November, and four of the children, Helen Jackman, Willow Wordie, Charles Barker and Ella Cunningham delivered their consignment of gifts — all new — to the Salvation Army's Major Andrew Richards. The presents include games, sweet selection boxes and toys.
