CALSTOCK Primary School pupils and the local writers' group have been working with circus company Cirque du Ciel on a puppet project which will be performed on March 17 at Calstock Arts.

With an age range of nine to 90 years, this performance art project 'Swapping Shadows' is highly unusual and offers participants the chance to reach across the age chasm and connect with another generation.

Primary school children have been really inspired by the tales of everyday life and the war experiences of the older writers.  

Admission is free —the performance starts at 7pm but donations welcome and refreshments are available.
