Devon & Exeter Intermediate 4
North Tawton Reserves 4
Tedburn 1
TAWTON started off struggling due to the boggy pitch and within minutes Tedburn missed an open goal.
This woke up Tawton who replied from a corner by Richard Keast which looked like it was going in, but Millie Quick poked it in to make sure.
Tawton had most of the possession and played good football but poor marking on a cross handed Tedburn an equaliser on a plate.
Tawton came right back and scored again from a cross by Sweeb then Richard Keast side-footed the ball through a congested box to make it two.
Tawton carried on with added pressure and in the 40th minute a pass came from Sweeb to Bragg who whipped in a ball to Fields. He volleyed from 20 yards to leave the keeper watching.
In the second half Tawton started well with many chances. On the 70th minute Fisher finally put away Tawton?s fourth from good build-up play from midfield.
Tedburn attacked but good defending from Tawton kept them at bay.
Man of the match: Millie Quick.
This Saturday home to Bradninch, kick-off 3pm. All welcome.
