RADIO 1 DJ and host of MTV's 'Pimp My Ride' Tim Westwood entertained in Tavistock during a visit to the town last Friday.
Westwood flew in, after playing at a club in Tenerife, especially for the first anniversary party of Tavistock's HQ Bar, and flew out again the next day.
The bar's birthday party was opened by Hip Hop act 'The Scribes', a popular regular act at the bar, while the TV and radio star took time to meet everyone at the party before playing a two-hour set.
HQ's resident DJ Mr Flexxx took over the decks after, so Westwood could party with customers.
Westwood said he had a great time and looked forward to visiting HQ in the future.
Owner of the bar Ben Neil said it was an honour to have Westwood play at the venue and it was a great pleasure to be able to put on the party, which was a 'thank you' to all the people who have supported HQ in the past year.
