THE Clinton Church of England Primary School in Merton and the Little Otters Pre-School are holding an open morning on January 27, welcoming parents and children to look around the school.

The morning gives visitors the chance to see the school in action. Year 6 pupils will lead the tours, giving their own honest and frank views on their school. Visitors can meet staff, governors and members of the school's friends group. There will be refreshments and performances from the school's choir.

In its latest Ofsted report, published in September last year, the school was ranked as good, receiving a good or outstanding grading in all four categories. In the report, the inspector wrote that 'Teaching is consistently good and often outstanding,' adding that the behaviour of pupils 'in lessons and around school is exemplary.'
