FORMER pupils, including three generations from the same family, have joined forces with local community groups to organise a reunion for all past pupils and staff to celebrate the centenary of Highampton Primary School.

The reunion is to be held on Saturday October 9 2010 from 2pm and continuing into the evening at Highampton Village Hall.

Cream teas will be available in the afternoon with a bar and barbecue following in the evening.

A spokesperson for the organisers said: 'We are hoping to gather as many former pupils and staff members, along with their families, as possible.

'We are also planning to put together an exhibition showing the school throughout  the last 100 years and would be grateful to anyone who may have any old photos or school memorabilia that they would be willing to lend  to be displayed at the reunion.'
