AMERICAN rocket scientist Amber Gell visited Callington College Space Centre recently.
She is pictured right with three year 12 students from Callington Community College who are hoping for a place on the annual trip to NASA this coming autumn.
The students have been working towards the trip for almost 12 months and have interviews for a place on the amazing trip next week.
While in Cornwall Amber will also be visiting schools in Newquay, St Ives, Fowey, Burraton Primary and Polruan to talk with students about working as a rocket scientist.
Amber Gell has spent the last six years working as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Houston, Texas as a contractor to NASA on the Orion Project.
