CHILDREN and staff from St Andrew’s C of E Primary School in Buckland Monachorum have raised £255 for the Mary Budding Trust.

The money was raised by the children from their weekly Smiley Shop which sells healthy snacks at playtimes and from cake sales.

The staff have also helped by donating their old books for sale in the staff room.

Sarah Pendle, from the Mary Budding Trust, was presented with the money during a recent assembly and explained to the children how the money would be used to help make life better for other children at school and their home environment.

Praise was given to everyone involved for raising such a good amount for this very worthy cause.
