A SIX-year-old Mount House pupil could be the next Tom Daley — according to the Olympic bronze medallist himself.
Oscar Piper, who is just three feet five inches tall, is already tackling the ten metre board at the Plymouth Life Centre, where he trains with 18-year-old Daley.
Oscar had been hoping to appear as a guest on the TV talent programme Splash, currently running on ITV on Saturday nights. But due to broadcasting regulations he was unable to appear.
To make up for his disappointment, Tom tweeted a video of young Oscar jumping from the 10-metre board, saying Oscar was 'the coolest six year old I know'.
And such is his popularity on Twitter, the video has now been seen by people all over the world.
Oscar's mum Ali said her son, who started diving when he was just four years old, had been very disappointed not to appear in the programme.
The talented youngster is not the only member of the Brixton-based family to dive either — his elder brother and sister also take part in the sport.
