PUT a spring in your step at a Tavistock Fun Run in April and raise money for charity.
The event, at 10am on April 4, is being staged by the Rotary Club of Tavistock and incorporates a beginners one-mile route and a seven-mile route for the more advanced.
Both runs begin and end at the West Devon Borough Council offices at Kilworthy Park and make great use of the cycle route along the old railway track.
Organised in conjunction with Tavistock Athletics Club, proceeds of the fun run will go to Rotary's 2004 charity Youthwise.
The entry fee is £4 for seniors and £1 for under-18s and everyone who completes the course will receive a certificate.
Entry forms are available from Lakes Pharmacy, Abbey Surgery, the Cornish Arms and the borough council offices in Tavistock.
