TAVISTOCK TV and radio presenter Steve Wilson will be investigating mysteries and grooming talented youngsters for stardom in two new television series coming to the small screen soon.
The first is 'Mystery', a ten-part series for ITV which explores and explains 20 strange and bizarre events. Filming took place in various locations across the UK over four months and was completed in December.
The programmes cover the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel, UFO sightings, the monster of Loch Morar, the ghosts of Glamis Castle and the Edinburgh vaults, the hauntings at Tullimore Castle and a shipwreck in Anglesey.
The second series, 'Reach for the Stars', gives young people the chance to meet their favourite celebrity and receive help and advice on how to emulate their chosen idol.
The series, by Twofour productions of London and Plymouth for digital and satellite channel Nickelodeon, will start filming soon. The eight-part series is likely to feature a footballer, radio DJ, model, TV comedian, soap star, pop star, actor, athlete, chef and fashion designer.
Steve has also just completed filming two more editions of Night Fever, the Channel 5 music show hosted by Suggs of Madness.
Steve, who was a pupil at Tavistock College, and former member of the National Youth Music Theatre and Plymouth Theatre Royal's Young Company, made his name presenting BBC1's Live and Kicking.
