A MULTI-sports event took place at Duchy College for more than 50 children from Stoke Climsland Primary School. 

Sports study students organised the event and coached the primary pupils.

Ryan Lucas, Duchy College sport lecturer and coach, said: 'Duchy College sport students have now established a very good link with a lot of local primary schools and they have greatly benefited from this.

'Student learning has been increased due to the willingness of the schools to allow Duchy College students to experience real life planning and leading of effective coaching sessions and events.'

Stoke Climsland School teacher Karen Cooper said: 'It was really well organised and the children were on the go the whole time, enjoying themselves immensely.'
