Tavistock and Yelverton fire crews attended a small kitchen fire in a Gulworthy property yesterday.

On arrival, firefighters put out a fire on an electric hob in a two-storey domestic property using one hosereel jet and two breathing apparatuses.

The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental and the case is now closed.
