STANNARY Brass Band held its annual Christmas concert at St Eustachius’ Church, Tavistock, on Saturday, December 16.

The concert was extremely well attended and included audience participation.

The band played some favourites of patron and host Angela Rippon’s; the theme tunes from Star Wars and Game of Thrones plus Christmas melodies and carols. The band’s guests, the Inner Tube, also played with great energy.

During the evening trophies were awarded to band players and a bouquet of flowers presented to Ms Rippon. Musical director, Peter Jones, and the band expressed thanks to the church, Tavistock Lions’ Club, the town mayor Philip Sanders and all other ticket holders for their generous support.
