WHAT a refreshing way to serve others! Around 30 people of Christian Churches Together provided a welcome cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit for show goers on the day.

The volunteers were made up of members representing the Anglican parishes of Chagford, Drewsteignton, Gidleigh and Throwleigh; Chagford Gospel Church, Methodists, the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and the Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Family, Chagford.

They took turns serving or doing the washing up! Donations made by refreshed customers go towards the many good works of the CCT — particularly to the youth and educational work in the area.
