A 17-year-old boy has died following a single-vehicle road traffic collision which happened on Sunday, April 15.

Police were notified at around 1.40am by paramedics of an incident on a minor road at Bratton Clovelly.

The driver of the Ford Ranger sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Formal identification has yet to take place but his next of kin are aware.

A full investigation of the scene was completed and enquiries are continuing to determine the cause of this collision.
