TAVISTOCK knew they were facing a tough match against unbeaten Chaddlewood but went into it with the right attitude and gave 100 per cent.

Rhianne Parsons and Aisha Macauley caused problems from the start and Chaddlewood were shaken up with the quality of football. It took ten minutes of hard work from both sides before Chaddlewood broke through and scored.

It did not take long before an excellent shot from Macauley hit the bar and crossed the line for the equaliser.

Tavistock were strong in defence with Louise Galway, Holly Krotke and Ruth Cole, and Della Maloney superb in goal.

Chaddlewood scored twice before half-time but in the second half Tavistock had their chances with Parsons chasing everything. She took on and beat three defenders to run through but shot wide.

Goals came in the second half but Tavistock never gave up fighting. Cole at the back played outstandingly, timing her challenges to perfection.
