MINI washing machines adorned the tree that gained the most votes at St Eustachius' Church's Christmas Tree Festival, organised by the Friends of St Eustachius.
Tavistock Launderette came in at first place, gaining the most public votes for its tree decorated with washing line garlands, featuring mini clothes.
In second place was the Street Pastors' tree, Lynbridge Dental Practice was awarded third place, and Tavistock Fire Station gained fourth place.
Winner of the hand-made quilt by Pam Hunter, was Irene Williamson, of Tavistock, and Eileen Basler from Plymouth had the lucky ticket for the food hamper.
More than 8,000 people enjoyed seeing the 65 trees this year, which were decorated by local schools, businesses and organisations.
