THIS game was to provide a turning point for Thistles. Their first goal came after ten minutes courtesy of Lee Wickett.
Chaddlewood played well but failed to hold back a brilliant pass from Wayne Downham, feeding on to Ben Stephens to give a 2-0 lead.
Shaun Molloney started as Tavistock's keeper but had to be taken off because of injury, handing the job to Ashley Woodrow towards the end of the first half.
The second half was to provide Tavistock with six further goals, a treble for Lee Wickett, a further goal for Stephens, one for Julian Bracey-Davis who finished brilliantly following a great pass from Dale Mullen.
Luke Huxham took the place of Downham ten minutes into the second half to fire up the forwards. The final goal came from Steve Gibbings who produced a cracking header.
The defence was strong with Ali Jowett, Phil Peers, Jason Webber and Dan Credicott, Chaddlewood only claiming one goal ten minutes before the end..

A DESERVED results by the home team playing at their home pitch in Lamerton.
New signings Alex Lowe, Darren Lake and Ian Rich all had excellent games. The backs of David Gibbings, Adam Dencham, Tom Reed and Ben James managed to keep Southway at bay throughout.
Midfield players Rob Leeson, Jamie Doyle and Matt Roberts continually fed forwards Martin Perkins and set up Chris Hutchings for his brace of goals, Doyle securing the other one.
Southway managed to score when they lobbed keeper Marc Smerdon whose excellent game earned him man of the match.
