IT has been a topsy-turvy week for Yelverton Bowling Club.
On Tuesday the ladies had a league game against Oreston which one rink won while the other lost, but overall Yelverton were winners and gained four points.
In the evening the men played a match against CSSA in the Evening League which they lost.
On Wednesday the ladies won the league match against Plymouth Hoe in which they gained six points. The friendly rink also ended in a win for Yelverton.
The friendly match against Yealmpton, which was played on Thursday, ended in a loss for Yelverton with the same result in the league game against Unity Park on Friday. The friendly rink won handsomely.
In the evening the men played a re-arranged Evening League game against City of Plymouth which they lost by a narrow margin on three shots.
Yelverton lost in the mixed friendly match against Kingsbridge Town which was played on Saturday, and Sunday?s mixed friendly against Buckfastleigh was cancelled due to their inability to provide a team.
