Tavistock Town U15?s .1
Woodford Colts U15?s. 3
TAVISTOCK were unlucky to draw the top team in their first game of the season but within three minutes were ahead following an excellent move by Kieran Lyle that was finished off by Damien Dee.
It looked as though Tavistock were up for the match with Andrew Derbyshire doing his usual sterling work in defence but in the fifteenth minute Woodford equalised and an injured Sam Johnson had to leave the park.
Woodford stepped up the pace with Mark Webber saving two shots at goal and one hitting the bar. At half time, Smerdon came on for Ollie Smallwood and Tavistock tried to attack more but Woodford?s speed was beginning to cause problems in defence and they went ahead in the 50th minute.
It was all finished when the opposing team scored their third goal in the 80th minute
Man of the match Kieran Lyle.
