LYDFORD Station Stables presented the trophies on Good Friday for their Winter championships.
There were four categories and an overall trophy.
Points were allocated in each class at each show from September to the end of March and the combination (horse and handler/rider) with the highest number of points in each category won a trophy.
The overall winners were Sophie Williams and her lovely palomino Welsh pony Parcvalley Cameo, who were also winners of the open championships and the novice championships. Competition had been tight towards the end of the season but Sophie got ahead by several hundred points.
The junior trophy and the in hand trophy were won by Katherine Curtis and her Shetland pony, Percy. Overall rosettes were allocated up to sixth place. With Sophie Williams and Parcvalley Cameo in overall first, in second place were Katherine Curtis and Percy; in third were Charlotte Turner and her pony called Rowfantina Riverdance; in fourth were Joshua Collings and his Shetland mare Kerloch Eternity; in fifth were Nicole Doidge and Mama Mia and in sixth place were Danielle Williams (Sophie's sister) and her coloured youngster called Witchcombe Savannah.
