A balloon race was held at Delaware Primary School on the last day of term prior to Saturday's duck race at Cotehele. Pupils paid £1 for each balloon and 300 were let off from the school grounds. There are prizes for the furthest travelled balloon. The money raised will go towards setting up a community garden at the school. Both the balloon and duck race were organised by the Friends of Delaware Primary School.
