A PUBLIC exhibition to allow people to view and comment on the proposed junction improvement at Fingle Glen on the A30 near Exeter will be held on Thursday, May 22.
It will take place at Pathfinder Village Hall in Pathfinder Village from 8am to 8pm.
Staff from the Highways Agency and its managing agent Parsons Brinckerhoff will be there to answer questions and listen to comments.
There will also be detailed information with drawings and plans on display.
Highways Agency project sponsor Nigel Dyson said: ?The accident record at this junction is worse than the national average but these proposals will improve safety for all the route?s users.?
No significant delays to traffic on the A30 are anticipated during the construction works, which affect 1km of the road.
Members of the public will be able to comment on the proposals by completing a questionnaire which will be available at the exhibition. They should be returned by August.
Copies of this questionnaire and a brochure on the proposals are available from Pauline Roach at the Highways Agency, Falcon Road, Sowton, Exeter EX2 7LB or by calling (01392) 312564.
Brochures and questionnaires can also be picked up at various other locations, including the DCC Local Service Office in Okehampton and Cheriton Bishop Post Office.
