LAMERTON WI is hosting an open meeting on November 14 to discuss the future of Tavistock as a thriving market town.

The 'Tavistock SOS, Save Our Shops' meeting will be held in Lamerton Village Hall at 7.30pm and there will be a panel of five people representing Tavistock BID (Business Improvement District), Totally Locally, Tavistock Chamber of Commerce and independent retailers from Tavistock.

This will be an opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and debate with local representatives with the aim of securing a prosperous future for the town.

The impetus for this forum comes from the WI national resolution which this year aims to focus attention on the problems facing high streets.
