A WELCOME donation has been presented to Princetown’s Devon Air Ambulance night landing site by the Yelverton Rotary Club.

The Rotary Club has been following the Dartmoor Forest Parish Council’s project to provide funding for the installation of a mast and an access track, including lighting, painting and ongoing future maintenance costs, for a night landing site at Princetown.

Rotary Club president Ross Dent presented a cheque for £500 to the parish council chairman Gregg Manning and congratulated the council on raising a sum in excess of £8,000 to date.
