At Alex’s Oak Tree, you can learn all about Frenchic paints, the basics of upcycling and different finishes at our NEW upcycling workshops, plus an array of upcycled furniture and home decor.
Alex’s Oak Tree is a family run eco-friendly upcycling furniture company located on the Pannier Market Perimeter. Alex’s Oak Tree was opened by grieving mother, Kathryn Rowlands, after she and her partner lost their son Alex aged only eight months old. Kathryn, who lives in Tavistock, found an outlet for her grief in painting old furniture.
She now sells upcycled furniture, upcycling products and home decor items. She accepts furniture commissions, she is an official Frenchic Paint stockist and more recently, due to popular demand, she is offering exciting new upcycling workshops.
