Hatherleigh Market moving to a brand new home
Listen up, folks - it's the update we've all been waiting for!
Hatherleigh Market is getting ready to move to its brand new purpose-built home in the new market quarter this November.
We’re hard at work putting the finishing touches on our shiny new market hall, meaning we will soon be able to accommodate up to 30 indoor stalls, plus a cafe. Alongside this we have an outdoor market square which will accommodate up to an additional 60 traders. We also have a purpose-built ‘Fur & Feathers’ building and we're looking forward to bringing back poultry and general auctions in the new year.
Starting in mid-November, the regular Tuesday Market will move from the Hatherleigh Community Centre to the new market building. We also plan to launch a new Saturday farmers’ market and Sunday Car Boot Sale, as well as hosting a variety of different events throughout the year.
Don't forget to join us on December 6 and 7 for our two-day Christmas Fair where we will have a fantastic mix of traders selling locally made crafts, gifts, food and drinks, plus so much more.
