POINT-to-point horse racing action returns to the course at Upcott Cross, Halwill Junction, where the South Tetcott hold their meeting on Monday. With six races on offer, this meeting usually attracts a high volume of entries, with the maiden races usually being divided, giving a possible total of seven races.  Pony racing kicks off the action at noon, with two pony races on offer before the main card starts with the Penbode Veterinary Group sponsored confined race at 1pm. There follows a men's open, ladies' open, a restricted, a members' race for novice riders, and the open maiden for horses not yet having won a race.  With less than six point-to-point meetings left in the country this season, there promises to be some exciting action on offer as the leader board tables are hotting up. The NFU sponsor the Cleveron trophy awarded to the jockey gaining the most points over the two Upcott Cross meetings. On course facilities include hot refreshments, bar, bookies and trade stands. Entrance is £10 car and driver. £20 car, driver and one passenger; £25 car, driver and more than one passenger. Walk in £7. The course  is located two miles south of Halwill junction, off the A3079.
