WITH the new season not far away, Belstone Cricket Club are looking to build on their promising start to life in division two of the North Devon League, when last year they won eight out of ten games to finish a close third in the table. 

Club secretary Chris Walpole said: 'As well as a full set of Sunday League fixtures, this season we'll be entering the NDL League Cup for the first time, playing games against Beaford, Bideford, Hatherleigh, Petrockstowe and Westleigh.  With mid-week evening T20 games in the Buckley Cup against Hatherleigh Colts, Sticklepath, Spreyton, Tedburn and Yeoford, plus a packed programme for Colts on Monday evenings, there really will be something for everyone who loves the game.'
