BERE Alston United triumphed in the quarter final of the Fred Dinks League Cup on Sunday, beating Launceston FC 3-2. Playing at home, Bere goals were scored by James Follet, Dan Follet and Alex Lowe. Bere Alston will go on to play Tavistock Reserves in the cup semi-final. The day before Bere Alston had beaten Elburton Villa 2-1 in the league, with goals from James Follet and Ben Stephens to help ease their relegation worries in the East Cornwall premier.
