TAMAR and Tavy Gig Club are currently planning their annual Regatta at Weir Quay and are expected a record number of crews to take part in racing on October 1.

They race traditional pilot gigs with a handicapped start down to Tamar Bridge and back and with some competitive crews this year including Salcombe and Royal Marines Tamar.
