NORTH Tawton Bowling Club have made great strides in the last couple of months to get their new club house up and running but with some finishing touches still to do, so the club have delayed the opening.

However, the new bowling season is here are so on Saturday (April 22) the club is inviting new/old/beginners to take part in bowling, to get their line and length ready for the coming summer months.

There will also be a big ‘thank you’ to all the people who have given up their time and expertise for free on Sunday, May 21. The official opening will be on Paul Andrews’ President’s Day which will be on Saturday, June 10. Attending will be; Sports England and Virador, North Tawton Town Council, Contractors, West Devon Borough Council and many others who have helped us on our way.
