THE ladies of Callington BC – Ann Gorman, Marie Richards, Rosalind Redfern and Mandy Jones) - triumphed in the Bowls Cornwall group two Captain Shield.

This is the first time the Callington BC has won this competition and the team now qualify for the county final at St Austell BC on September 11. In  the group two final they beat a strong rink from Saltash BC (Liz Nicholson, Rebbecca Radmore, Christine Johnstone and Melba Kitt) by 13 shots 26-13.
