THE Tavistock College equestrian team had a great day at the British Showjumping Assoc-iation team event on March 25, at Tall Trees Equestrian Centre in Camelford.

Up against strong competition, the team riders — Jade Coupland, Heidi Littlejohns, Natalie Rowe and Frankie McKechnie — won first place without incurring a single penalty, and in the second class secured second place.

Showing team spirit and a determination to win, Natalie Rowe held her nerve when riding the deciding round in the team’s second place win. Frankie McKechnie also won individual fourth in both the classes, first riding Nimo and then Bats. Heidi Littlejohns won sixth in the second class riding Neepo.
