THE first race of the Tavistock Wheelers Go Ride Cyclo cross series takes place on Saturday (September 24) at Whitchurch Primary School.

Registration is at 8.30am for a 9am start. Novices are very welcome, the only requirement is that the bike is in good working order with knobbly tyres and a helmet. These races are always friendly and fun and the group helps those who are ‘having a go’.

Races for school Years 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, all competitors receive prizes. This race is the first in a series of three. Prizes for any parents helping out (entered in a prize draw for cream teas each race, provided by the Foxtor Cafe).
